As senior students of our school, we are expected to be an example to the lower classmen. We are the upperclassmen in our school because we have been at this school for 5 years. However most students do not take their education seriously which can tarnish their overall reputation.  I feel that we seniors should always take our education seriously.  First, a serious student should have good focus and not get easily distracted. Another way you can take your education seriously is by being strategic and always having a plan. For example, communicate with your teacher so that you can get the help that you may need. The most essential way of taking your education seriously is to always try your best. It is always good practice to be motivated and accomplish your goals. Most importantly, you should follow instructions. Be skillful and resourceful when it comes to doing a task on what you previously learned. If you follow these tips, the outcome would be amazing.. Finally, ORGANIZATION is very important because most schools require assignments for grading so it’s important to keep track of your work and progress. If students are unable to be organized it may result in a call home, detention or even worse, a meeting with the principal. This is why seniors like us should take our education seriously. We are a team and we have to work together. This goes for everyone in all grades. Spread the message! Article by  Jonathan Hernandez

Ok this is pretty old news. But I am still going to post it so..... This is a first person perspective on the bus incident. Don't worry you could trust me with telling you I am one of the students on the bus. As the yellow bus was pulling out I was just conversating with my group of freinds. That day was parent teacher conference for the kindergarden, 1rst , and 2nd grade so the upper grades were the only students on the bus. I started pulling out my book as I heard loud screaming. Obviously I thought it was a joke because I am going to be up front, there is always screaming on yellow bus. I really became alert when I heard the first bang, then another bang. And BOOM my head was lurched forward and it hit the leather seat in front of me. I looked up, dazed. I was just sitting there until I realized that I was the last person on the bus. Then I hurried out of the bus through the emergency exit door. I was comforted by the hugs of many staff members in the school. This accident was really traumatizing and so I cried ( man tears). After a while, the firemen finally showed up and the EMS arrived as well.  We were all ok. I was finally overjoyed when I saw my dad through the building window and he happily escorted me home.
